Paul Palmer is Professor of Voluntary Sector Management and Associate Dean for Ethics, Sustainability and Engagement at Cass Business School. He acts as an independent consultant on charities to UBS Wealth Management, and as an expert on charity dispute issues for courts and arbitration. Paul also serves on the ethics panel of the Securities Investment Institute and the Corporate Responsibility Advisory Group of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).
Prior to this, Paul project managed the Lord Mayor of London’s Integrity and Values Initiative. He was also hon treasurer of the British Academy of Management (BAM) Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Special Interest Group, successfully leading a BAM consortium bid for an ESRC seminar series on CSR. He was previously a member of the Charity Commission SORP committee, and also served on the Expert Panel of the Ethical Investment Research Services (EIRIS) Charity Project.
Paul recently co-authored Corporate Social Responsibility: A Research Handbook, which addresses some key areas of contention, theory and practice within CSR.
