Keji Okeowo

Keji OkeowoKeji Okeowo is the youth participation manager for the National Council for Voluntary Youth Services (NCVYS), with responsibility for the strategic and sustainable development of Youth Participation at a regional and national level. Keji is project manager of the Young Partners project, a Big lottery funded project over five years.

Prior to her work at NCVYS, Keji was a director for a social enterprise that specialises in youth empowerment and engagement, delivering a peer consultation, mentoring, facilitation and training for public and private sector organisations, including Hackney council, Southwark council, GLA, Commonwealth and a range of housing associations.

Keji went on maternity leave in 2014 and her role on the Commission has been covered by her NCVYS colleague, Isabelle King.
