Dan Corry is chief executive of New Philanthropy Capital (NPC), a charity think tank and consultancy that exists to make charities and funders more successful in achieving their missions.
Previously, Dan had a varied career in public policy and economics as head of the Number 10 Policy Unit and senior adviser to the Prime Minister on the economy, chair of the Council of Economic Advisers in the Treasury, and as a special adviser to the Secretary of State in the Education Department and at DTI and DCLG. Most recently he was a director in the Economics segment of FTI Consulting. Dan also ran the New Local Government Network think tank, and was senior economist at the IPPR.
Dan is a visiting fellow at Southampton University, a trustee of the Spitalfields Centre Charity Trust, a member of the Greater Manchester Economic Advisory Panel, a member of the Research Committee of the ESRC and a member of the advisory board of CentreForum, a liberal think tank.
